ziemlich coole Perspektive! Hat mich irgendwie an die Szene in Star Trek mit den Bohrern erinnert.. :D

wow- this pice is breath taking! i must admit Mr Priteeboy is correct about the low rez texturing however i think it is still very clean. also i love how you added the citys to the actual planet texture insted of doing it in post prosessing. im pretty sure i reconise those brushes aswell :) hehe i never thought to use them like this though! what blending mode did you use to get the coloring right? so it dident look painted on :P oh also prehaps its just my pickeyness- but the large city circle doesent look right somehow :\ the closer i look at it the more out of praportion it looks?

i think its because the lines are thicker than all the other citys there for it stands out as being the odd one ;) i would sugest having it the same size but shrinking the rings to a uniform size like the others ;) seeing as ive never made a brush like this- i have no idea how hard it is either :(

i hope i havent been too pickey? :o

keep up the amazing work :D

:D Agreed about the low res. But the low res is actually not in the texture, but in the mask. ;) About the cities, I added them in PS. :D So I'm glad you thought they were in the texture, means I've done a good job. Those brushes are awesome by the way. Can't remember where I got them though. Somewhere here on DA I think. Blending mode... color dodge and a texture added to it with blending mode color dodge. About the largest city you're maybe right. But I won't change a thing more in this picture. I'm surprisingly satisfied with it. No worries, you haven't been too picky. :) Thanks for the support.

The actual continents feel really low-res around the edges :hmm: and I maybe would have done just a bit more with the elevator (like add some lights on it or something) but overall it's a breathtaking view of which I hope to get to see one day - so NASA - hurry up! :sprint:

Mhmm... should have done a higher resolution mask for the continent shape. Agreed. About the elevator I'm actually pretty proud, tried post texturing it in PS and learned some new things along the way. Could it be better? Yes, but I'm still in the learning process. ;) And NASA, speed things up, I wanna see that thing in my lifetime. :D Thanks a lot.

Hmm, the continents I think could even just be edited in Photoshop, perhaps some clone-tool here and there to fix up the edges, but it's up to you :)
