In the style of "a box of pearls". My latest "GLOBE".
Planet is 3dsmax and then manipulated into that picture of an antique globe. Colors adjusted, a nice logo and a little framein photoshop. That's it.
I've always wanted a little planet, that has actual continents and moving weather patterns too...it sure would make for a great centrpeice in any room
I thought the whole thing was 3D at first. I personally would have gone a bit further and put some faint, brown backlight on the planet's dark side, to represent light bouncing off the wooden parts. Though its still some fine, and original handywork here

Why is delivering things in a car called "Shipment" while delivering things by boat is called "Cargo" ?
Would be way better than a fishtank, don't you think? lol. Cool, if you first thought the whole thing was 3D than I think I made a good job. Hmm... some brown backlight... let me try.

Lol, well I have a fairly large tropical tank in my room, it cost a lot and cleaning it once in a while takes half the day lol. It sure is a beauty though...But a planet would be nicer, its more "unusual" ( and wont need the monthly cleaning of shitty water...unless the inhabiants pollute it )

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
