Hi @ all.

300 years after the hit. The globe is still in turmoil. Fragments which were thrown into space formed a ring around the world. The dust settles slowly. And still rocks are falling from the sky. Pieces which slowly descent from their unstable orbit return home at last. What was once a friendly home became threatened by extinction.

:woohoo: DD Thanks a lot Kerem. :)

Really Snazzy Shot,:flowerpot: especially being from the perspective of what appears to be a passing asteroid...
Haven't heard much about it, but has anybody stopped to think about what happens to our neighboring planets if this one gradually, or continues to, slide out of whack? What about our cute little moon, I swear it seemed to care alot of times no one else did...:sprint:

With the two rocks framing the planet, I feel as if I am looking at an event that I know will take place but am powerless to stop it. It really gives the viewer a surreal and strange feeling. Awesome.

All our lives are between two trees, as you have shown through this picture. It began with the Garden and the Tree of Knowledge, and it will end with the New Heaven and the New Earth and the Tree of Life.

Awesome! I would say a crater of that magnitude would glow for a lot longer than 300 years because of that massive impact on the tectonic movments of the planet. The scar would not heal for many centuries. Add to that that destruction of the atmosphere and I think you have this image spot on! 10/10. I wish I could have this a a poster. love it!!!!

Thanks a lot. :) Yeah, I guess this world would need a very long time to heal and in the end it still would be scarred for millennia. About the poster, just note me. I'll see what I can do. :)

seriously frighting.. i always get a bit giddy with things of the future and outer space but its really sweetly done. I like the way you kind of look at the planet from a clear distance, watching, observing while you know the shock of the destruction will kill us all D:

Thanks a lot. :) Well, fortunately this won't kill us, since that is not earth. But how very unfortunate for the people who call that planet their home. :D
